Recruitment Requirements

When you hire an activity with a company or a professional guide the following requirements must be met.
In the case that the guide does not belong to this association you must present your degree of Sports Technician.

Requiring these requirements is a guarantee for you as a customer.

The guide

Must be in possession of the corresponding degree. You can prove it by means of your professional card and you can check it here

Make sure

That the activity is within the competencies of the contracted guide. You can check it here.


An agreement specifying the characteristics of the contracted activity

Civil liability

The company or the guide as a self-employed person must be in possession of a civil liability insurance


You as a customer must be insured through accident insurance


The company or guide as a self-employed person must be registered in the active tourism business register of his community

How can I identify a professional guide?

All AEGM guides will be in possession of an accreditation that demonstrates their professional specialty

This credential accredits the High Mountain Guides / High Mountain Sports Technicians belonging to the UIAGM.

This credential accredits the AEGM associates indicating the professional category.

This credential accredits the Companion Guides / Sports Technicians in Mountain Leader belonging to the UIMLA.
